As we all know, Spider-Man: Homecoming comes out July 7, 2017 and will feature Iron Man and Vulture is the villain. Well, there is another villain according to IMDb. Also, other Marvel characters have been confirmed. Let's take a look at who else we can expect in the movie (if you don't want to know anything about Homecoming, then this article is NOT for you):

Marvel Characters In Spider-Man: Homecoming

Another villain is going to be in the movie! This is very exciting because I thought only Vulture would be in the film (this proves the trailer didn't give everything away). Scorpion a.k.a Mac Gargan is making an appearance. Mac Gargan will be played by Michael Mando. Scorpion wears a suit that has a scorpion tale, has a scorpion sense, and spews acid from his tale. He can scale walls like a scorpion and is crazy.

Scorpion is a symbiote like Venom (symbiote is an alien life force that bonds to someone and makes them evil). I am very excited that another villain will be in Homecoming (a villain we haven't seen in any other Spider-Man movies). Another character (who is actually returning) is Pepper Potts (played by Gwyneth Paltrow).

I am very surprised that Pepper is in this movie since we haven't seen her since Iron Man 3 in 2013. I don't know what her role is in Homecoming, but I am very interested in finding out. Donald Glover is in Homecoming, and will play Aaron Davis a.k.a Prowler. Aaron Davis is Miles Morales' uncle. (Miles Morales is another Spider-Man who is half African-American and half Puerto Rican).Prowler is a burglar and gave Miles his spidey powers unintentionally (a radioactive spider-the one that bit Miles- crawled into Prowler's bag when he was stealing stuff from a lab).

Jennifer Connelly is joining Spider-Man: Homecoming, and is said to be play Karen/Suit Lady. I'm not sure who she is, but she will probably end up being a very important character because they wouldn't cast Jennifer Connelly to play a Suit Lady. All these casting announcements has made me feel so much more enthusiastic about Homecoming. I think it will end up being the best Spider-Man movie.

Who The Villain In The Venom Movie Is

The Venom Movie may not come out until 2018, but we know who the villain will be-Carnage. Carnage is another symbiote (like Venom) except he is even worse and more unhinged. Basically, Carnage murders LOTS of people (Carnage LITERALLY means the killing of a large number of people).

Carnage was Cletus Kasady before becoming a Spider-Man villain. Cletus was a serial killer, and when he merged with the alien symbiote his psychotic personality became amplified. I don't want to be too excited for the Venom movie because Sony does not have a record of making amazing movies. We will just have to wait for more information and a trailer to decide if the Venom movie will hold up to superhero movie standards.

Didn't read the Part 1 article? Sony (who owns Spider-Man's universe) has announced that an R rated Venom movie will be coming out October 5, 2018. Venom/Eddie Brock is going to be played by Tom Hardy (which is the only casting we know). This film is going to be directed by Ruben Fleischer(who directed Zombieland). This announcement came out of nowhere, and has fans wondering if it will relate to Tom Holland's Spider-Man movie (Spider-Man:Homcoming-July 7, 2017). Let's discuss:

President of Marvel Studios, Kevin Feige, has said that Venom will not be a part of the MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe). Tom Holland (Spider-Man/Peter Parker) and Director of Spider-Man: Homecoming Jon Watts said that these movies are not connected. Sony Producer Amy Pascal said that these movies are in the same universe and are part of a world they are creating for Peter Parker. I am very confused!!! An explanation that I would say is that Sony is creating these Spider-Man related movies so they are able to have Tom Holland play a part in Sony's universe (eventually). Although there is no confirmation of Venom relating to the MCU.

Tom Holland has confirmed that Spider-Man: Homecoming will be a trilogy. Other than Avengers Infinity War, no other movies have been confirmed featuring Spider-Man. Sony is expanding their own Spider-Man Universe not just with Venom. A movie featuring Black Cat and Silver Sable has been announced (with no casting), and will be directed by Gina Prince-Bythewood. Confused on who Venom, Black Cat, and Silver Sable are? Read below:

Silver Sable, Black Cat, Venom

Silver Sable is a mercenary and she hunts terrorists from Symkaria. Her real name is Silver Sablinova, and her relationship with Peter Parker consists of flirting. Black Cat also flirts with Peter(she can also be his enemy), and is similar to Catwoman (she is not as evil as her though). Her real name is Felicia Hardy (she was shortly played by Felicity Jones in The Amazing Spider-Man 2 w/ Andrew Garfield as Spider-Man).

Venom (who we have seen in Spider-Man 3 with Tobey Maguire as Spider-Man) is Eddie Brock who became one with an alien (symbiote) that made him have powers like Spider-Man (since Spider-Man had the alien attached to him first-which didn't turn out so well) and made him a little crazy. Venom is one of Spider-Man's bigger/well-known enemies.

For more information on Venom and Spider-Man: Homecoming read Part 2!!:

Follow me @moviemarauder for more content like this everyday!

2017-06-23T23:32:30 /movies/@moviemarauder/will-the-venom-movie-be-in-the-same-universe-as-spider-man-homecoming-part-1 MOVIE NEWS: Jurassic World 2 Title Revealed!!!!

Hey movie marauders! I am SO EXCITED!!! The title of the sequel to Jurassic World is Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom. Under the Jurassic logo on the poster, there are the words LIFE FINDS A WAY. (We will talk about the title and words in a moment). The sequel is slated to come out June 22, 2018 and will be directed by J.A. Bayona (the first film was directed by Colin Trevorrow-who is know a writer for the sequel). According to Bryce Dallas Howard (Claire), they are on Day 52 of filming. (check out her Instagram @brycedhoward for some pics from Jurassic World 2). Filming is taking place in Hawaii and the U.K. Let's talk about the movie poster that was released today:

What Fallen Kingdom Could Mean

Fallen Kingdom could refer to the kingdom of dinosaurs ending. (Jurassic World ended with the park being evacuated). Maybe the Fallen Kingdom is the Jurassic World park that the characters have to go back to. I honestly have no idea, but I do know that there will definitely be dinosaurs in the sequel. I am so anxious to watch the second Jurassic World (it is one of my top favorite franchises). I personally loved Jurassic World, and thought it had enough nostalgia from the first films.

The Fallen Kingdom could be the dinosaur frenzy ending (who wants to go to a theme park that is VERY dangerous?) Although InGen does have dinosaur eggs and Dr. Henry Wu. Maybe they are cooking up some dinosaurs in a lab. I wish I could say that we will find out soon, but we still have another year to wait for the movie to come out (*sigh*).

What Life Finds A Way Could Mean

Ian Malcolm (Jeff Goldblum) is confirmed to be in Jurassic World 2 (yesss!). We have not seen Malcolm since The Lost World in 1997. We all know that Ian always said in Jurassic park that life always finds a way. The poster could be referring to Malcolm being correct (he was since in Jurassic Park III dinosaurs were reproducing even though they were all the same gender). Maybe The Fallen Kingdom (the Jurassic World theme park) is finding a way to survive and reproduce.

I love that Life Finds A Way is included in the poster because it makes the film sound very dramatic and ominous. Director J.A. Bayona has said that Jurassic World 2 will be more serious and dark like Empire Strikes Back and Wrath of Khan. The thought of an even darker Jurassic World movie makes me so happy. I will definitely be getting a ticket to see Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom!

Liked this article? It has been announced that Ron Howard is going to direct the Han Solo Movie. He is a safe bet, having directed great movies such as Apollo 13, In the Heart of the Sea, The Da Vinci Code, Cocoon, and many more. I really wish that Lord and Miller had stayed on the movie because of their comedy and their energy.

Ron Howard is going to watch a cut of what has been filmed so far. The Han Solo Movie started production in January 2017, and is going to resume July 10, 2017. There is only 3 weeks of production left along with 5 weeks of reshoots. The director switch was basically at the end of filming.

I mean, they really couldn't just leave the movie to Lord and Miller? This is very confusing because we are not sure who will really get credit for directing the film. rpn Howard may be the director, but he came in very late. I'm worried that this movie is a mess and will flop at the box office. It is pretty unheard of for a movie to switch directors right at the end of production.

The movie is still scheduled to release on its original date of May 25, 2018. We still don't know the title of this movie (we've just been calling it Han Solo Movie). Hopefully Lucasfilm made the right decision to switch directors late in the game. This movie could still succeed if it has good acting (and *crossing my fingers* a good plot).

Thanks for reading movie marauders!! The 8th installment of the Star Wars franchise is slated to come out December 15, 2017 (USA). From what we have seen from the teaser trailer, this movie is extremely vital to the new trilogy. Force Awakens was really just a remake of A New hope, which really bothered me. The Last Jedi seems to be a new concept and definitely has me wondering who the last jedi is/are. The trailer looks amazing and it gave me chills. I am very anxious to see The Last Jedi. The question is: Will it be better than Episdoe VII? Let's discuss it:

[Suggested]Need to rewatch The Last Jedi teaser trailer? Click the video below![Suggested]

Luke and Rey

From what we saw at the end of Force Awakens, we know that Luke will be training Rey to become a Jedi. Also, in the teaser trailer we see clips of Luke teaching her on the island (yessss!!) I am extremely excited to see their Master-Padawan bond. Although Luke may not be what Rey expects him to be. Luke is still damaged from training Ben Solo and as we know from the teaser trailer, Luke believes the Jedi must end. What does he mean?! The Jedi can't just end, they balance the force!! It's going to be interesting to watch a damaged Luke try to train Rey, who is very enthusiastic about fighting against evil and becoming a Jedi.

I hope she doesn't turn to the dark side in the future because I really like Rey, and I am so excited to learn more about her heritage. There are so many conspiracy theories about who her parents are. (Luke, Obi Wan, Palpatine, etc.) To be honest I'm really not sure where she comes from. I would love for her to Obi Wan's daughter because: a) I love Obi Wan and b) It would be great to see Luke training his mentor's daughter. Of course, nothing is confirmed and we will just have to wait until December!

Wanna see the conspiracy theory that Rey is Obi Wan's daughter? Click the video below!

General Leia Organa

Probably the most wanted character to see is the late Carrie Fisher as Leia. I love how her character is now a General instead of just a princess. I feel very bad for Leia because Han died (by her own son) and Ben is consumed by the dark side. We see a small glimpse of Leia in the trailer.

It seems like she is looking at a map. Maybe she is planning some battles or thinking up some new ways to destroy the First Order! Whatever she is doing, I am so excited to see her take on the role of General even more in this film.

Finn/Poe/BB-8

From where we left off in Force Awakens, Finn got injured from his lightsaber duel with Kylo Ren and is in a coma. John Boyega (who plays Finn) says that Finn will definitely be in The Last Jedi and ready for some action. In the teaser trailer, we see him healing in some kind of medical pod.

Finn is a very strong character (he is the only person in Star Wars who has used a lightsaber without having powers-besides Han Solo in Empire Strikes Back). I'm not sure what role he will play in this Episode. Maybe he will help Poe (who we briefly saw in the trailer) or he will be in battle under Leia.

Whatever he is doing, I hope he will stay alive and well this time around. Poe is seen with BB-8 on a Resistance ship that is under attack. Plus, his X-Wing gets destroyed (that sucks). As for BB-8, he will apparently get himself into some funny situations.

Kylo Ren/Captain Phasma

The only thing we see of Kylo is him holding his lightsaber and bearing his new scar.

As for Phasma (who is such a cool character) we see her with some stormtroopers in a wreckage.

I wish I had more information about them, but that's it!

R2D2 Fire scene/Battle Scenes

I have no idea what the R2D2 scene means. We have seen it in The Force Awakens as well, but it has still not been revealed to us. It is some sort of force vision or flashback that Luke has. It has been speculated that it relates to the jedi temple that Luke trained Ben at burning down.

Looks like we will have to patiently wait for an explanation (ugh). The battle scenes that are in the trailer look stunning. The ships that spew out red dust are very pleasing to the eye.

Apparently, the planet those ships are on is called Crait, and the it has an abandoned Rebel Base on it. I can't wait to see that action sequence! I don't know about you, but I am beyond excited for Episode VIII.

Conclusion

I think that The Last Jedi will be better than The Force Awakens. We may know basically nothing about it, but the teaser trailer has me very intrigued. I wouldn't say I was disappointed with Force Awakens, but I just didn't like the fact that it wasn't original. I feel like The Last Jedi is going to be an amazing sequel to Episode VII. I mean, Empire Strikes Back was even better than A New Hope. All I know is that I cannot wait for more trailers to be released!

Follow me @moviemarauder if you enjoyed this article and you want to see more content like this everyday!

Check out my article on 10 Amazing Facts About The Force Awakens!

--More The Last Jedi Articles will be posted once new information is available--

2017-06-21T21:26:54 /movies/@moviemarauder/will-the-last-jedi-be-better-than-the-force-awakens 10 Incredible Facts About Disney's Zootopia

Hey movie marauders! Zootopia came out in 2016 and was an amazing animated film. It had amazing themes and a very good story(it is one of my favorite films). It made $1 billion at the box office and is the 5th highest grossing animated film of all time. Let's dive right in and take a look at some fun facts about Zootopia!

1. Nick Wilde's middle name is Tiberius (named after James Tiberius Kirk-Captain of the Enterprise in Star Trek).

2. There are 64 different species in Zootopia.

3. Originally, Nick was the protagonist of the movie instead of Judy.

4. The crew went to Africa to study and research animals.

5. Zootopia is the 2nd longest Disney animated film at 108 minutes (Fantasia is longer at 126 minutes).

6. The Lion King's Mufasa inspired Mayor Lionheart in Zootopia.

7. A giraffe in the movie has 9 million hairs! (If you saw my article about Frozen, you know that Rapunzel had 27,000 and Elsa had 420,000).

8. Shakira asked for her character, Gazelle, to have bigger hips.

9. Some crazy news has just been released about the Han Solo movie. The directors (Phil Lord and Christopher Miller) have dropped out of directing the movie because of creative differences with Lucasfilm. President of Lucasfilm Kathleen Kennedy has said that a new director will be appointed soon. There are still weeks left of shooting for this movie, but it will supposedly still come out on its release date of May 25, 2018.

Clearly the creative differences must have been very big for the directors to just quit making the film. What does this mean for the Han Solo movie? Well I hope that the movie doesn't seem to have different tones in each part because part is Miller's and Lord's vision, while the other part is the new director's vision. Lucasfilm will probably bring in a director that will listen to the vision that they want. Maybe Lord's and Miller's take on the Han Solo movie was too funny (they directed The Lego Movie/21 Jump Street). We won't know the exact reasons, but hopefully this movie will still turn out to be an amazing Star Wars spin-off movie. You know from my previous article (if you read it) everything that we know about the Han Solo movie:

I'm sure the movie won't be completely changed (that would be too much time and money wasted) but the vibe of the movie will definitely not be the same. I am honestly shocked about this news. I was really excited and hopeful for this movie especially because of Lord and Miller. I hope the new director that they bring in won't only listen to what Lucasfilm wants, but bring their own style to the movie.

Follow me @moviemarauder for more updates on the Han Solo Movie. The first Iron Man movie was the most important movie to Marvel because it kicked off the MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe). The MCU would not be where it was without this amazing film. Iron Man is funny, has a great story, and a great cast. You can't go wrong with watching Iron Man (it is my favorite superhero film). Let's take a look at 10 facts about Iron Man that you can't believe are true!!

1. Tom Cruise could have been Iron Man (thankfully Robert Downey Jr. got the role).

2. When Pepper replaces Tony's arc reactor, a fake chest (prosthetic) was connected to Robert's real chest and protruded at an angle. A bright light was positioned on the area to hide the edges of the prosthetic chest.

3. J.A.R.V.I.S. stands for Just A Rather Very Intelligent System. Edwin Jarvis was Howard Stark's butler (he was changed to an A.I. because of the similarity to Alfred Pennyworth).

4. Robert Downey Jr. weight trained for 5 days a week and practiced martial arts for his role as Iron Man.

5. The film is shot in California because Jon Favreau (director of Iron Man/Happy Hogan) thought that every superhero film is shot in New York City and the East Coast.

6. The post credits scene where Nick Fury talks about the Avengers Initiative was made up last minute.

7. Most of the dialogue was improvised or written on the day they were filming. (The script was only a vague outline).

8. An early screenplay of Iron Man said that Tony Stark helped Doctor Octopus create his robotic arms (this never happened, but with Spider-Man Homecoming we will get to see Iron Man and Spidey together!)

9. About 450 pieces put together create the Iron Man suit.

10. James Rhodes' (War Machine) ringtone for Tony is the theme music from the 1966 Iron Man cartoon.

Don't forget to follow @moviemarauder for more content like this everyday!!

Want to watch the scene where Tony Stark tries out his Iron Man suit (Mark II) for the first time? Jumanji came out in 1995 and is a classic family movie to watch. This movie had Robin Williams as Alan Parrish, who of course stole the show. This movie had this mysterious (yet awesome) board game that when played, real animals come out of it. Also, once you start playing, you can't stop until you finish the game. That is pretty scary. Now(22 years later), Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle (the sequel) will be coming out December 20, 2017. Instead of a board game, we are getting a video game (oh no). Let's take a look at the cast, plot, and how this movie is a sequel (and not a reboot):

Main Cast

Dwayne Johnson as Dr. Smolder Bravestone

Kevin Hart as Moose Finbar

Karen Gillan as Ruby Roundhouse (plays Nebula in Guardians of the Galaxy)

Jack Black as Professor Shelly Oberon

Nick Jonas as Alex

Plot

An old video game console is found by 4 high school kids. When they play it, they change into the video game characters. They must go through the jungle (that Alan Parrish was stuck in) and try to get out. I think it will be interesting to see the jungle where the animals come out of. I don't like how its a video game because it doesn't make sense (did the board game change into a video game?). This movie has potential, but it probably won't do so good. This movie has to stand on its own and not rehash everything about the first Jumanji. I hope the adventure the kids go on is entertaining, and of course funny. I really like the cast and I really hope this movie won't be a box office flop.

How it relates to the first movie

When the teens turned video game characters are in the jungle, they discover what Alan Parrish left there. This includes a jungle house and some clues (I guess Alan left clues in case anyone got sucked into the game again?). So in the sequel, it is kind of like Alan is their helping and guiding them (cool, I guess). I am not sold on the sequel yet, but I really don't know how this movie will play out until a trailer is released.

Don't forget to follow @moviemarauder for more content like this everyday!!

Click the video below to watch the crocodile attack in Jumanji (1995)!!

*Comment below what you think about Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle!*

2017-06-20T14:49:18 /movies/@moviemarauder/jumanji-2-what-to-expect Does Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them Deserve 5 Movies?

Hey movie marauders! Fantastic Beasts brought back everything you loved about Harry Potter. Magic, likeable characters, and the awesome creatures. Fantastic Beasts made $812.5 million and got a 73% on Rotten Tomatoes. It did not do as good as Harry Potter, but the movie wasn't bad. I thought the story would be a little different, but we will get into that later into the article. Fantastic Beasts was going to be a trilogy, but J.K. Rowling said that 5 movies had to be made to tell the story adequately (and Rowling even said 5 movies would be a tight squeeze to fit everything in). Does J.K. Rowling just want money or is Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them really that good of a story? Let's discuss it:

The Plot

When I first saw the trailer for Fantastic Beasts, I thought it would just be about Newt trying to catch all of his creatures (even though I knew Grindelwald would be in the movie). I thought maybe while catching his creatures, there was some kind of beast that he found that was destroying the city. Well, to me after I watched the movie there were about 3 separate storylines (Newt catching his creatures, the Obscurus-Credence, and the rise of Grindelwald).

That was really the main thing I did not like about the movie (and how old Grindelwald was). The movie could have been a lot better if not so many things were happening at once. I'm fine with the idea of an Obscurus, but I feel like it was executed poorly. It was kind of obvious that Credence had a bigger role in the film because he was played by a well-known actor (Ezra Miller). The movie wasn't terrible, but I feel like it could have been so much better.

The Characters

I loved all the characters. I like how Eddie Redmayne portrayed Newt. He did a good job showing how Newt associates better with animals than humans. Queenie and Jacob are so cute together. They are such good characters and I'm excited to see more of them in the next movies. Tina wasn't one of my favorite characters, but I still like her because of her determination and hardwork. The beasts were so interesting and some of them were really cute. The Niffler is definitely my favorite because of how cute and sneaky he is.

I also like the Bowtruckle because of his relationship with Newt. I thought the Demiguise was adorable and I like how it can turn invisible.

The Thunderbird reminded me of Buckbeak, but it is very different since it can sense danger and create storms. I didn't really like the Erumpent that much because it wasn't very magical. Fantastic Beasts got the magic of Harry Potter and the characters right. I loved all the beasts since we didn't get to see many on screen in Harry Potter. My only main issue was the plot.

The Setting

They built New York City because it was too hard to make the City look like it was from 1926. I loved the set that they built and I thought they did a good job depicting New York City at that time. Fantastic Beasts is very interesting because it is set before Harry Potter and the rise of Voldemort. I am very interested to see Grindelwald and young Dumbledore (going to be played by Jude Law in the 2nd movie) interact with each other.

;

The first movie had to open the door to Obscurus (which we now know is what happened to Dumbledore's sister, Ariana) and Grindelwald and Newt Scamander. I think Fantastic Beasts 2 will be better because we know how this new world works and we will finally see Dumbledore's story.

Conclusion

The world of Fantastic Beasts is just as magical as Harry Potter. Fantastic Beasts wasn't the best movie, but there is hope for the sequel. Fantastic Beasts deserves a second chance to wow audiences even more. The DCEU (DC Extended Universe) began with Man of Steel in 2013. It added Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice in 2016, Suicide Squad in 2016, and Wonder Woman in 2017. Soon, Justice League (November 17, 2017) will come out along with the corresponding movies for the Justice League members. Before Wonder Woman, DC just wasn't as good as Marvel. People were excited for Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice. It was supposed to be the doorway to the Justice League, Wonder Woman, and compete with the MCU (especially Captain America: Civil War). I think this movie failed because it was supposed to accomplish too many things at once.

Suicide Squad was going to be just what DC needed, but it did not meet fan's expectations. It wasn't terrible, but it's definitely not a movie that you would put in the top 10 best superhero films. The tone of all the DCEU movies were dark, and the stories just weren't as entertaining as the MCU. Wonder Woman changed all that, and gave fans hope that DC can be funny and are able to produce amazing superhero films. Here are some reasons why Wonder Woman changed the DCEU in a good way [Please note that this article contains Wonder Woman SPOILERS]:

Wonder Woman Had An Amazing Story

Instead of the movie's problem being solved by "saving Martha," Wonder Woman had to actually go on a journey and stop Ares. The movie kept you on the edge of your seat and had amazing action sequences. When Diana went through No Man's Land, it put a huge smile on my face. This changed from when I saw Batman v. Superman and was SO disappointed with the direction the movie went in. (Wonder Woman did not change its tone because of Batman v. Superman). If Wonder Woman were bad, people would definitely not be looking forward to the origin stories of the Justice League members. Of course, Wonder Woman's amazing story came with likeable and entertaining characters. This includes Steve Trevor, Antiope, Hippolyta, Charlie, Etta Candy, and Sameer.

These characters added to the movie and provided humor. Wonder Woman proves that just because the movie is about a superhero, it doesn't mean it has to be so serious. Hopefully the other origin stories will have a lighter tone and at least some humor (and of course amazing action sequences).

The Themes Of The Movie

Wonder Woman had some amazing messages and the movie was made for a purpose. It wasn't just created to make money or open the doorway to even more movies. Wonder Woman discussed doing what is right even if no one else wants to do it. Diana influenced a change in Steve Trevor, and showed him that civilian's lives are more important than getting a notebook to his superiors (even if that notebook is Dr. Posion's).

Diana also realized her full potential while on her journey. She didn't go out and fight Ares because of a prophecy or because she was forced to. She did it because she genuinely cares about people's lives. Diana is so good at heart and believes if she is able to do something, she won't let anything stop her.

Also, no one believed her that Ares was causing the war. Steve didn't even believe her. This shows that Diana won't let what other people think get in the way of stopping her. The other DCEU movies don't really have any major character arcs or really strong themes like Wonder Woman. That is one of the main reasons Wonder Woman has really affected the DCEU.

The Vibe/Tone Of The Movie

Superhero movies are much more enjoyable when they have a couple of jokes. Wonder Woman had a very bright tone and humor. I loved the scenes when she was talking to Steve about men. The tone of Wonder Woman was so different than anything we have scene from DC so far.

Batman v. Superman and Suicide Squad were very gritty and didn't have a lighthearted side. I thought that Man of Steel was a pretty good origin story, but the whole movie was very serious. Wonder Woman just had so many amazing aspects, and when they were all put together it made one of the best superhero films.

Movie Marauder rates Wonder Woman a 96/100.

Want to watch the awesome Wonder Woman warehouse fight scene? The 5th installment of Pirates of the Caribbean, Dead Men Tell No Tales, was released on May 26, 2017. It got a Rotten Tomatoes score of 29%, and made $138 million domestically (its budget was $230 million). This film was supposed to be the final one of the franchise. However, one of the producers said they would do a 6th movie if Johnny Depp, the fans, and Disney really wanted another Pirates of the Caribbean movie. Orlando Bloom even said another movie would be possible. [SPOILER] The end credits scene in Dead Men Tell No Tales showed that Davy Jones is still alive. This is a great opening to make a 6th installment [END SPOILER]. This franchise could potentially go on forever (just saying). Would there be another one? Probably. Fans love these movies (even though they are badly rated) and Disney loves making money. I could see another Pirates movie being made, but it would have to be as good as or even better than the 1st movie, The Curse of the Black Pearl. The question is SHOULD there be 6th movie?

If you say YES:

If you say YES, this is because you love watching Jack Sparrow and an almost 3 hour adventure through the world of Pirates of the Caribbean. Well, I do to. While watching the movie I understand the whole plot and what is going on, but after I watch it I forget the whole movie (except that I liked it). If a sixth movie is made, it has to have an adventure that I don't forget. I remember the 1st movie, but the rest of them just blend together. I love watching Jack Sparrow, Elizabeth, and Will.

I would like to see them all in a 6th Pirates movies. Pirates has a lot of potential, it just has to be executed correctly. The first Pirates movie got a 79% on Rotten Tomatoes (certified fresh). The second (Dead Man's Chest) got a rotten score of 54%. The third (At World's End) got a rotten score of 45%, and the fourth (On Stranger Tides) got a rotten score of 32%. Rotten Tomatoes doesn't dictate how good a movie is (everyone has their own opinion of course), but it does show how each installment got lower and lower in ratings. I will say YES to another if it will just have a better story and not just focus on the special effects (On Stranger Tides is the most expensive movie ever made, At World's End is the 2nd most expensive).

If you say NO:

If you say NO, this is because you can't stand another super long movie about a mediocre story. Also, after you watch the movie you say "What was it even about?" or "A pirate's life isn't for me." All you remember is Jack Sparrow, rum, and "savvy." I understand you. The Pirates movies haven't been the best, but they have made a lot of money. You just don't see the point in wasting time and effort to create a movie that really isn't that good. (I mean how many movies can you make off of a theme park ride?) That is a very valid point. Also, [SPOILER] Dead Men Tell No Tales solved everyone's problems. (Elizabeth and Will are together again, Jack Sparrow is Captain of the Black Pearl again, and Will and Elizabeth's son is all grown up)[END SPOILER].

Plus, you were told that the 5th movie was the conclusion. (why would they go back and make another if the whole point of the 5th movie was to tie up loose ends and conclude the franchise?) Only time will tell if another movie is in the works. But for now, enjoy the bliss of knowing these bleh movies are done with.

What does movie marauder think?

NO.

I think there shoudln't be another movie. [SPOILER] All the characters are happy and the 5th was a satisfying ending [END SPOILER]. If they do decide to create a 6th movie, it has to have a story that isn't ridiculously long.

Want to see the post credits scene in Dead Men Tell No Tales? Star Wars has been revived by Disney starting with The Force Awakens (2015), then Rogue One: A Star Wars Story(2016), The Last Jedi (2017), and Star Wars Episode IX (2019). They are planning on creating Star Wars Stories, and started with Rogue One. The next story will be the Han Solo Movie starring Alden Ehrenreich as Solo. The Han Solo Movie is untitled and is supposed to be released May 25th, 2018 (U.S.A.) (There are rumors that it will be delayed until December 13, 2018). It started filming in London in January 2017. I would like to see an Obi Wan Star Wars Story starring Ewan McGregor, but Disney has not confirmed it. Disney is supposedly planning a Boba Fett Star Wars Story as well. There are not many details about the untitled Han Solo Movie, but here is what we know so far:

Cast

Alden Ehrenreich as Han Solo

Donald Glover as Lando Calrissian

Joonas Suotamo as Chewbacca(played Peter Mayhew's double in The Force Awakens)

Woody Harrelson as Beckett (criminal/Han's mentor)

Emilia Clarke (unconfirmed role)

Thandie Newton (unconfirmed role)

Phoebe Waller-Bridge (unconfirmed role)

Directors are Phil Lord and Chris Miller (directed The Lego Movie/Jump Street Movies).

Writers are Lawrence Kasdan (wrote The Empire Strikes Back, The Force Awakens, Return of the Jedi, Raiders of the Lost Ark) and his son Jon Kasdan.

Plot

This movie is supposed to show how Han made his name (became popular). It is speculated to show how Han got the Millennium Falcon from Lando and his relationship with Jabba. It will have a western/heist vibe. It is going to show why Han is the way he is. This film will take place around 10 or more years before we meet Han in A New Hope.

This is about all we know so far!

My Thoughts on the Han Solo Movie

When I first heard that Alden Ehrenreich was going to play Han I was disappointed. I just couldn't see him as the character. When I saw the first photo of the cast and Alden dressed up as Han, I feel better about the movie. I am mostly just worried that they will ruin Harrison Ford's Han Solo. I am very happy about the casting of Donald Glover as Lando and that Woody Harrelson will be in the movie. I like the directors and writers and I think the Han Solo Movie is in good hands. All I want from this movie is a fun adventure and a better understanding of Han Solo. Hopefully this movie is as good as Rogue One and will convince Disney to do an Obi Wan story!

Photos from the set:

Want to watch the scene where Han shoots Greedo in A New Hope?
